| In 1983, The Rubinoff Company was founded to invest in and develop property, specializing in commercial and industrial joint venture and tenant/investor projects in the Pittsburgh area. Originally formed to service The Rubinoff Company’s own portfolio, the property management, construction and project management, and leasing teams have grown to offer third-party services to institutional clients and private investors as well. The Rubinoff Company’s development, leasing, construction, and management teams each offer an innovative, hands-on approach to client projects. At present, The Rubinoff Company manages, leases, and maintains approximately 2 million square feet of office, flex, warehouse, and residential space in the Pittsburgh area.
A few of the more well-known properties in The Rubinoff Company’s portfolio include the Koppers Building, totaling 356,439 square feet of Class A office located in Pittsburgh’s central business district; Washington’s Landing, a mixed-use development that includes more than 225,000 square feet of commercial office space on a 42-acre island in the Allegheny River; and Alcoa Business Services Center, a 228,000 square feet of Class A office and retail center located on Pittsburgh’s North Shore; and the most current project—Summerset at Frick Park, a 700+ unit residential development in Pittsburgh’s Squirrel Hill neighborhood.
